Watson Rose is a multi-talented actor, writer, and dialect coach based in Toronto, ON. Known for her transformative characterizations and undeniable presence on both stage and screen, Watson’s wit, physicality, and vocal dexterity will leave you craving more.

Watson is a graduate of the world-renowned London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA), where she received her master’s in acting with distinction.

Raised in the small town of Acton, ON, Watson has been a passionate performer since the age of six, when she memorized all of Gollum & Smeagol’s lines from the Lord of the Rings trilogy and would reenact their scenes at any opportunity, in any place. Despite this, her family encouraged her love of the arts, and Watson committed to becoming a renaissance artist. Throughout her school years, she was an active participant in both her high school theatre and a local youth theatre company, where she not only acted, but assistant directed, built sets, and designed costumes, all while competing as a figure skater and performing worldwide with her school’s competition jazz and concert bands. While attending the University of Alberta, she was the Artistic Director of the school’s New Works Play Festival for two years, spearheading an initiative to allow emerging playwrights to develop their work under the guidance of an established industry mentor. She also re-launched the university’s defunct Cahoots Cabaret to give students in all departments the opportunity to create, play, and experiment in a safe, inclusive environment.

When she’s not on set, you can find Watson either guzzling coffee at a local cafe while pouring over scripts, or working online, where she teaches speech, drama, and dialects to youths and performers across the globe. Watson loves to laugh - often, and loudly - and she’ll always want to chat about stand-up comedy, theatre, or baking. She has over ninety plants (so far) currently living in her apartment (they all have names), as well as two black cats, Tippi and August, whom she adopted from set in 2023.

Currently, Watson’s work can be seen in the second season of the popular Hallmark TV series, The Way Home, where she plays Susanna Augustine.

Watson is represented by Julia Schneider of Ambition Talent. She is a full and active member of both CAEA and ACTRA.
